These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic Code Amendment Regulations (No 3) 1996.

In these regulations the Road Traffic Code 1975* is referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 1607 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting after subregulation (4) the following subregulation -

( 5 ) The Board may at any time, by notice in writing to the person, amend or revoke an exemption given to a person under subregulation (4).

Regulation 1612 (6a) (c) (ii) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "to control a fire;" and substituting the following -

"for the control of fire or for fire management purposes;".

Regulation 1805 of the principal regulations is amended -

(a) by deleting "into" and substituting the following -

"in ";and

(b) in paragraph (e), by deleting "Liquor Act 1970;" and substituting the following -

"Liquor Licensing Act 1988;".
